What is "Give Day?"
UMS-Wright Give Day is a 24 hour period on November 10 (12:00 AM CST - 11:59 PM CST) to help raise money for the UMS-Wright Wright Fund. Our goal for Give Day is to secure 500 donations. Your gift to the Wright Fund directly helps keep tuition increases to a minimum and provides the best possible education, variety of programs, and enrichment opportunities for our students. No matter the size, make the WRIGHT choice and donate today!
Who can participate on "Give Day?"
Anyone can support UMS-Wright on "Give Day" by making a gift of any amount!
Will my gift be tax deductible?
What type of gifts are accepted on "Give Day?"
Cash, check and credit card.
Give to the Wright Fund online by visiting www.ums-wright.org/donate.
Call the Advancement Office at 251-470-9039 to make your gift over the phone.
Mail a check postmarked today, November 10 with “Give Day” in the memo line.
Transfer securities by contacting 251-470-9039.
Can I make a pledge?
Pledges will not be counted during "Give Day," only cash gifts. However, if you currently have a pledge and wish to make a payment on it during "Give Day," that cash payment will be counted.
Can I make a payment on an existing pledge?
Yes, this is a great day to make a payment on an existing pledge.
How can I help spread the word about "Give Day?"
Online donor number 88 will receive a UMS-Wright YETI cup. 88 represents the number of Seniors in the class of 2017. Social Media Contest - Those who spread the word on Facebook and Instagram will be entered in a drawing for a $100 credit to the UMS-Wright cafeteria (parents and grandparents) or a UMS-Wright State Traditions hat and sticker. To be included in the contest, you must: 1) Give online by clicking here. 2) Share the image you recieve in the online thank you message. 3) Tag 3 people as you share the image and use #makethewrightchoice. 4) Follow us on Instagram or like us on Facebook. The winner will be announced November 11th.
When will I hear how much was raised on "Give Day?"
We will allow one week for checks to be mailed in and make an announcement on November 19 via email.
