We are all so excited about the new uniforms! Take a look! Below you will find a grade-level description of the new uniforms. Please keep in mind the following: 

• 2008-2009 will be the transition year. The current uniforms will still be acceptable through the 2008-2009 school year.
• The following year (2009-2010), only the new uniforms will be worn.
• Pre-K and K will stay the same.
• We welcome your questions, and when we compile a list of these we will post FAQ's and answers right here for you to see!

Grades 1-3: Girls will wear a charcoal grey flannel jumper with the UMS-W monogram. They will wear a piped Peter Pan puff sleeve blue shirt. Boys will wear a charcoal grey flannel pant and a blue Oxford shirt with grey striped belt. 

Grades 4-5: Girls will wear a charcoal grey flannel jumper with UMS-W monogram. They will wear a piped Peter Pan blue shirt with a straight sleeve. Boys will wear a charcoal grey flannel pant and a blue Oxford shirt with a grey striped belt.

              Grades 1-3                                              Grades 4-5

Grades 6-11:  Girls will wear a blue Oxford shirt with a charcoal grey flannel skort with a UMS-Wright monogram. Boys will wear a blue Oxford shirt with charcoal grey pants with a grey UMS-W logo ribbon belt. The Middle and Upper School blazer is crimson; the girls' blazer will have a feminine cut. Boys will wear a crimson and grey college striped tie. Grey sweaters or sweater vests are optional and may be worn with or without the blazer.

Grade 12:  Attire is the same as above with the following exceptions: seniors will wear white Oxford shirts, senior girls wear the gold UMS-Wright charm necklace, and the boys wear the senior tie.

          Grades 6-11                                                   Grade 12-- SENIORS!

Shoes: All girls will wear the traditional black and grey saddle oxford with white crew socks. Black tights or full-length leggings are optional for cold weather. Boys in grades 1-5 will wear black dress leather lace-ups with black socks. Boys in grades 6-11 will wear black loafers with black socks.

Outerwear: A newly designed fleece and monogrammed sweatshirt will be optional for all school levels. Details on these items, as well as PE uniforms, will be posted soon!

Accessories: UMS-Wright bar pins or vintage UMS or Wright bar pins will be an optional uniform accessory for all grade levels. Availability of new pins will be announced soon.

Beginning with the 2008-2009 school year, new uniform items will be available through Zoghby's Uniforms. The Parents' Association Used Uniform Sale will continue to offer the current uniform through early spring 2008 for the transition year; shirts and approved blazers will be available at the August sale. The UMS-Wright Supply Store will stock the new fleece, sweatshirt, PE uniforms, and uniform accessories. Shoes will continue to be available at local children's shoe stores. Itemized lists and pricing are generally distributed by merchants in the spring. As always, the uniform policy for the year will be in the handbook.
