  • On December 10th at 1pm in the Fine Arts Auditorium, Mr. Humphrey will be providing an eye-opening presentation titled “You’re Missing It: The Drug and Alcohol subculture.” Parents, this is an opportunity for you to learn the slang and terminology that unlocks this underground world. You will learn how to quickly identify drug related phrases, wording, clothing, and apparel that you have probably seen and heard 1000 times but didn’t realize it, until now. This presentation covers topics such as alcohol and drug trends, signs and symptoms, synthetic drugs, opioids trends, party drugs, alcoholic energy drinks, OTC drugs, drug concealment, drug-related music, new drug-related technology, marijuana wax and oils, vape devices and lots more. This free training will equip you so that you’re not missing it…anymore.
  • Mark your calendars, Mr. Humphrey will be providing certification for any students or parents interested in becoming CPR/AED and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. The cost is $45 and the course is 1 1/2 hours long. This certification teaches basic life saving first aid for the occasional babysitter or the responsible parent. Gain the confidence that you can save someone's life and have fun learning. Certification will take place on Monday, November 25th. Please respond if you're interested and we'll save you one of the 30 spaces available.
  • The yearbook staff is seeking candid photos of students of all ages attending COLLEGE GAME DAYS, participating in OUTDOOR activities (hunting, fishing, beaching, riding bikes, skiing, etc.), taking part in any OFF-CAMPUS SPORTS or OFF-CAMPUS FINE ARTS.
