UMS-Wright Preparatory School offers a variety of courses to meet the needs and interests of our upper school students.  We offer nearly 20 Advanced Placement® courses as well as a variety of honors and accelerated courses in mathematics, English, science, history/social science, world & classical languages, and fine and performing arts.

In 2019, 57 UMS-Wright students were recognized by the College Board as AP® Scholars, Scholars with Honor, or Scholars with Distinction. Additionally, three of these students were recognized as AP National Scholars. In addition to our advanced level academic courses, we offer a demanding college preparatory curriculum for all of our students.  In conjunction with our academic offerings, UMS-Wright offers a variety of electives including courses in choral and instrumental music, visual arts and photography, as well as drama and theater production. Our newspaper, award-winning yearbook, and creative writing journal offer a variety of writing and graphic arts experiences. Debate students compete in novice and advanced tournaments. Should you have specific questions about our courses or academic program, please consult the Upper School Course Guide, or give me a call at (251) 470-9012.
